Experience

Fernando Tallón has been Partner in the Civil Litigation, Insolvency and Arbitration Practice since January 2021. He joined the firm in 2013, after several years at an international law firm.

He specialises in the resolution of civil and commercial disputes in complex cases, having extensive experience in the resolution of contractual and non-contractual liability proceedings, both in national and international arbitration and in legal proceedings before the ordinary courts.

In particular he specialises in the resolution of disputes relating to engineering and construction projects, as well as disputes in the financial and security markets sectors. He has extensive experience in the resolution of disputes in the energy, M&A, real estate, hotel, insurance, pharmaceutical and food & agriculture sectors. In commercial matters he has experience in particular in proceedings regarding directors’ liability, the challenging of corporate resolutions and unfair competition. In addition he specialises in claims for damages arising from infringements of Competition Law.

He acts as lawyer, arbitrator and administrative secretary in national and international commercial arbitration and has extensive experience in arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Court of Arbitration of Madrid (CAM), the Spanish Court of Arbitration (CEA), the Civil and Commercial Arbitration Court (CIMA), the Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Bar Association and ad hoc arbitrations.

He has extensive experience in advising national and international clients in business restructuring processes and pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings. He also regularly acts in proceedings relating to class actions for the protection of consumers' collective interests.
